Posted by cristi on October 25, 2009

You have here the second episode of Radiantcasts

In the following screencast you’ll see how to install and use the Globalize2 Extension. This extension allows you to easily translate the content of your site into any number of languages. It uses the Globalize2 Rails plugin based on the I18N API available in Rails since version 2.2

Tip: watch in full screen

Tried to watch your screencast, but the audio was really bad. Maybe purchase a USB microphone?

Yeah, I know, need to get some gear. Just started recording one night, then when I heard the audio, I tried to make it better (it was a lot worse). Hopefully the next one will be better.

but…. what about the content, think it’s helpful?

Great idea, looking forward for new screencasts! But the audio is suboptimal! ;-)

By the way: how do I get this shiny Textmate-Edit-Button into my radiant page?

Yeah, I know about the audio. Yesterday I ordered a nice USB Headset, so it should be a lot better for the next episode.

About the “textmate edit button”, is actually “It’s all text” Firefox add-on. It will add a button to all textareas and allows you to configure an external editor to handle this.
